Dalziel

Project : Dalziel
Year: 2018
Photo / Villa Cavrois / Black Panthers / Fashion collection

Dalziel is a fashion collection created by Vanessa Thomas inspired by black panthers.

It is an urban, masculine and committed brand, with cuts inspired by the 60s and 70s, refreshed by monochrome graphics. Through her graduation collection, Vanessa wants to highlight the Black community and the fact that this community is still a victim of violence and inequality on racial grounds.

The purpose of this lookbook's shooting is to illustrate the atmosphere of the collection through the colors, the compositions, the models and of course the place. For this, we shot the collection at Villa Cavrois which is located in Croix by mixing digital and film photography. The Villa Cavrois is an architectural manifesto and is the emblematic work of architect Robert Mallet-Stevens, a figure of the modernist movement.

This project was in collaboration with Alexis Girard, Auxane Hanot et Léo Maubert.
